Dear colleagues,

We organize the 5th annual International Conference-School “Dynamics, Bifurcations, and Chaos”, which will be held on July 16-20, 2018. The conference is organized by the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod.

The themes of the conference include

Bifurcations and strange attractors
Hamiltonian and mixed dynamics

Applications of dynamical systems

The topics are inspired by many great contributions by outstanding Russian mathematician L.P. Shilnikov to the field.

The conference will also feature advanced mini-courses for students, postdocs and interested researchers.

We invite you, as well as students and members of your group, to participate at the conference. We expect that a certain financial support will be available to cover cost of lodging for junior participants.

Please, note that foreign participants would need a Russian humanitarian visa covering the period the conference is held. In order to obtain the visa, you will need a formal invitation from the Nizhny Novgorod University. The invitations will be prepared by Alexey Kazakov, please contact him by e-mail kazakovdz@yandex.ru as soon as possible. You may also ask him if you need travel advice and help with hotel booking
